Terminix acquired Alterra Pest Control, a summer sales model company based in Provo.

Alterra Pest Control was founded in 2012 by CEO David Royce and was a top 20 finisher in the 2015 PCT Top 100 list.

“It was an easy decision to sell to Terminix,” said Royce in a PCT article. “We built this company with core values based on exceptional customer service, environmental responsibility and above all, a positive team mentality. We were only interested in finding a company that met these high standards and made commitments to develop our employees and meet the expectations of our customers.”

Customers will still be serviced under the name “Alterra.”

Royce has now sold his third business to Terminix. His first company who built was sold to Terminix in 2008.

Terminix has acquired several companies in the U.S. including Bug Busters, Cabot Pest Control and Atlanta Pest Control.
