Utah-based Vivint has released a 100 Mbps wireless home internet service at a rate $60 per month. Vivint has grown in the security and solar space through its summer sales program.
Vivint’s internet service is faster DSL or satellite, but is not quite up to the speed that fiber users experience. The company is using LMDS (local multipoint distribution service) radio technology to make its internet service possible is reliant on radios mounted on cell-phone towers or tall buildings. Customers will receive a router to channel internet services to their home.
